Acquired through an estate sale, this vacant property presented a design challenge for architects Allard Ward due to its steep topography. The goal was to create a house that seamlessly integrated into the neighborhood while being functional. With an alley on one side, the design incorporated a side-loaded garage at the rear. The architectural approach leaned towards modern aesthetics, featuring dark tones and expansive windows.
The house was thoughtfully designed with two outdoor spaces—a rear patio and a rooftop patio at the front, offering captivating views of West Nashville. The floor plan embraced an open concept, with main living areas featuring ceilings soaring up to 14 feet. Adding to the allure, our custom metal fabricator contributed to the project with beautifully crafted stair rails, a kitchen hood, and a fireplace enveloped in metal, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the residence.
