This project marked one of Tudor Building Group’s initial ventures into custom homes. Collaborating with our in-house design team, we replaced an existing single-family house with a new, custom-built residence. Nestled on a spacious property in West Meade, the location afforded us the flexibility to craft a generously-sized custom home for the homeowner. The house boasted a main floor master suite, an open living concept, and a 3-car garage. Upstairs, ample bedroom and living space were incorporated to accommodate a growing family.
What set this project apart was the unique collaboration with the homeowner. We entered into a contract before the house was completed, and the homeowner introduced additional custom features beyond the original plan. Notable enhancements included framing the entrance with two gas lanterns on the front porch and adding two gas lanterns on parking pad columns at the front of the house. This project serves as a testament to our ability to collaborate closely with homeowners, even three-quarters of the way through the construction process, to achieve a truly personalized and exceptional home.
